Art of Lying 15: 保守黨黨魁金馬倫的一句 I love you babe

英國05月 11日民意調查結果顯示，下任首相大熱人選白高敦，民望不及保守黨黨魁金馬倫。這項由英國廣播公司進行的調查顯示，約30%受訪者認為白高敦親民，認為金馬倫親民的有40%。同樣，認為白高敦有誠信的有31%，認為金馬倫有誠信的有38%。

英國10月 08日民意調查結果顯示，金馬倫支持率再進一步領先，有45%支持率，白高敦只得34%。

金馬倫為自己親民形象的包裝真是有一手。以下是10月3日英國泰晤士報的報導：

After finishing his speech, Mr Cameron turned to members of his shadow cabinet, seated on the stage, and asked "Was that all right?" His voice still picked up on the microphone, he could be heard asking the same question of his wife, Samantha, as she joined him, before adding: "I love you babe."

Finally, he said: "Aah.. I'm knackered."

在演講後金馬倫疏忽地錯以為咪高峰已經關上，把他對幕僚和妻子的說話讓外間聽見。大部份人都覺得金馬倫演講後的疏忽是造假的形象宣傳策略，但這是並不重要的，因為近日民意調查結果顯示他的簡單一句"I love you babe"已經為他的形象加分了。
